Welcome to Website Creation Help - A website dedicated to teaching the Absolute Beginner about Website Creation and Website Management, but without the usual patronizing associated with teaching Website Novices and Non-Programmers for example.

Here is a description of some of the lessons. Do not be put off by the Technicals because I will be showing you how to set up/incorporate/apply these BASICS, step-by-step.

The lessons tell it how it really is.....THE REALITY.....THE TRUTH. If you are serious about creating and/or managing your website project then know the reality. It involves PLENTY OF TIME and PLENTY OF ENERGY, and A Small Amount Of Money. YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED SUCCESS and YOU COULD BE A FAILURE. So if you are a DOER rather than a TALKER read these lessons carefully, for your sake not mine, because they give out information you would normally pay for and spend hours/days/weeks looking for.

Selling On The Internet

Selling On The Internet these days is more than just having a website with product(s) and/or service(s) on it. It is about being ranked highly enough on the Search Engines, but not necessarily number one, so that you have enough customers but not too many (failure of your own success).

It is about creating a Newsletter/Mailing List that will create/keep Loyal Customers. It is about knowing if to have a Blog or not, and not just having a blog because it is fashionable. It is about promoting quality content and avoiding too much product promotion and self promotion. And above all it is about maintenance and using good website tools.

Pure Examples

One of the things I will show you on this website is pure, honest, examples that you can check for yourself. Article Writing is a perfect example of this. Last year I posted six computer-related articles to six different article websites and then showed the results. The results, which included links to the actual articles (for you to check), showed the true results of article writing regardless of what the so-called GURUS (Internet Marketers) say about article writing. In other words, I showed the reality.

The GURUS say "Do not post the same article to different article websites", because once one article website has accepted your article the other article websites will not accept it, but I proved this not to be the case. So do not believe these GURUS. If anything, do it your own way and see what happens. If it works, it works, but if not you can always tweak your article.

The Real Deal

Another example of pure honesty is the video below. It shows a live snapshot of this website's positions (rankings) with five major search engines. Namely: Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask and Lycos. The video, which was unscripted because I wanted it as live and raw as possible, was taken on 26/03/2010.

Some people think because I write with knowledge/authority that I must some how be an expert at video making as well. Quite the opposite! The whole purpose of each video on this website is to produce quality information and content, that relates back to my website content, as opposed to producing a well scripted, rehearsed, hollywood blockbuster.

If you do not want to watch the video, perhaps to save me some bandwidth!, it shows this website on page one of all five search engines. Some position (rank) it at page 1, position 1 while others position (rank) it at page 1, position 5 for example. Either way, page 1. There is no secret or super tactic that put this website on page 1, as you will discover throughout this website, it was down to common things that you can do yourself.

People think SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is everything, but it is not. You can still get highly ranked without SEO tactics. So above all else, it is about writing a website for your human audience and not for a search engine. Search Engines do not buy product(s) and service(s).....they just advertise/promote them for you.
